Name |
- The name of this organization shall be: The Honey Bears.

| 2. |
Objective |

To bring subordinate OES Chapter officers of the state of Oregon
into closer cooperation and friendship.

To assist our Grand Officers, Sister Rebecca Price , and the Co-Grand
Officer on their journey through the Grand East.

| 3. |
Meetings |
-
The regular meetings shall be held each month from September through
May at 12:00 noon unless otherwise stated in regular communications.
- For those luncheons held at subordinate Chapters, luncheons
will be $7.00 each, with $6.00 paid to the host Chapter
and $1.00 to the treasury of The Honey Bears. For meetings not
held in Chapter facilities, the cost will be according to the
charge, plus $1.00 per person to be paid to the treasury of The
Honey Bears.
- Costs of luncheons for Sister Rebecca Price and the Co-Grand
Officer will be paid by the treasury of The Honey Bears.
- Reservations are required for all meals at meetings. Reservations
not canceled five (5) days prior to the meeting will be
dealt with on a case-by-case basis. Those attending without prior
reservations are welcome, however, they will be served after
those who hold reservations.

A quorum consists of a majority of the members present at a designated
stated meeting and must include at least three Executive Board
members.

An additional meeting may be held in June with the time and place
to be previously announced.

The annual picnic and meeting will be held in July or August of
each year with the date and time to be announced at the May meeting.

Membership |

Eligibility:
- Associate Conductresses and Escorts 2006-2007
- Conductresses and Escorts 2007-2008
- Associate Matrons and Associate Patrons and Escorts 2008-2009
- Worthy Matrons and Worthy Patrons and Escorts 2009-2010

Voting Members:
Everyone identified in Section IV A, upon payment of dues and being
in good standing in OES shall be considered voting members of The Honey
Bears.

Honorary Memberships:
- Sister Rebecca Price and/or the Co-Grand Officer may suggest
persons for Honorary Membership, who must then be approved
by a majority vote of the members present.
- Honorary members will neither pay dues or assessments nor
have voting privileges.

Dues |
Annual dues of $20 shall be due at the beginning of each fiscal
year. |
| 6. |
Fiscal Year |
The fiscal year shall begin on July 1 and end June 30 of the following
year. |
| 7. |
Officers |
-
For the first two years, elected offices shall be: President,
Vice-president, Recording Secretary, Corresponding Secretary
and Treasurer. Beginning in the 2008-2009 year, an additional office
of Second Vice-President will be added. The First Vice President
will be a Brother and will assist the President. The Second Vice
President will be in charge of luncheons.

The Executive Board shall consist of all elected officers.

Election of Officers |

After the first year, the election of officers will take place
at the May meeting.

Nominations will be submitted for each office by a Nominating
Committee appointed in March by the Executive Board, and nominations
may also be submitted from the floor by eligible members.

Officers may be elected by secret ballot.
- Ballots will be counted by an ad hoc committee appointed
by the President.
- A majority vote of members present shall elect the officers.

Installation of Officers |
- Elected officers will assume their duties at the summer meeting.
- Formal installation of officers will be at the summer meeting.
